The West Hartford Community of Concern presents
Kathi and Chris Sullivan, together, sharing their inspirational message of hope, love, change and strength.
Kathi never thought that she would be a public speaker or that she would become an advocate for the
prevention of underage drinking and social host liability. All that changed one cold October morning in
2008 when she received the horrific news that her 17 year old daughter, Taylor, had been found, drowned in
only two feet of swampy water as a result of underage drinking.
Chris was a football star who earned a super bowl ring in 2001 with the New England Patriots. One year
later, he retired from the NFL due to his off-the-field battles with anxiety, alcohol and drug addiction.
Chris draws on his personal experiences to communicate the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse. He has
chosen to share his personal battle with others to create more awareness of the dangers of alcohol and drugs
and coping with anxiety.
